Remote protection is utilized to safeguard remote desktop logins, preventing unauthorized access. It supports multiple protection rules to enhance the security of remote desktop connections.
1. Remote Desktop Services
Real-time monitoring of the remote desktop status within the operating system. Enabling or disabling this feature will also turn the remote desktop service on or off at the operating system level.
Click "Configuration" to modify the remote port.

2. Client IP/Region Protection
Authorize specific IP regions for remote logins. For instance, only permit remote logins to the server from your designated geographical area. As illustrated in the figure below, only IP addresses from the United Arab Emirates are allowed to log in to the server via remote desktop.
This is one of our standout features—please ensure it is enabled!

3. Client Computer Name Protection
Note: This feature is only available for Windows.
Authorize specific computer names for remote logins. For example, if you only want to allow your own computer to remotely log in to the server, simply enter your computer name.

4. Remote Time Protection
Specify the time slots during which remote logins are permitted. Login attempts outside of these authorized time periods will be denied.

(Only allow remote logins between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily)
5. Brute Force Protection
Continuously monitors and counts the number of failed login attempts by users. Once the count exceeds a preset threshold, the login IP will be automatically blocked to prevent brute force attacks on remote logins.

6. Login Notification
Send message notifications upon user logins, including failed attempts due to incorrect usernames or passwords.
