If you forget the panel admin account or password, you can retrieve it using the following methods.

1. Windows

Method 1: Check the "MagiAegis Defense System-User Guide-*.txt" File

If you have not modified the password for the initial admin account, navigate to the server desktop and locate the file named "MagiAegis Defense System-User Guide-*.txt". This file contains the recorded admin account credentials.

Method 2: Add a New Administrator Account

Remotely log in to the server, then right-click the MagiAegis Defense System tray icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Select "Add administrator" from the popup menu.

Enter "Soft Pass" (the latter half of your Product Key, i.e., the portion after the hyphen -) and click "OK".

Important: After adding the account, be sure to copy and save the new username and password.

Friendly Reminder:
Soft Pass refers to the second segment of your Product Key (everything after the -).
Example: If your Product Key is XXXX-YYYYYYYY, then Soft Pass = YYYYYYYY.

2. Linux

Method 1: Check readme.txt

If you haven't changed the password of the initial administrative account, you can navigate to the installation directory of the defense system, which generally starts with a directory like /magiaegis/magi.

Then, check the readme.txt file, which contains the recorded administrative account and password.

Method 2: Add a new account

Remotely log in to the server, enter the command "magi", then input "10", followed by the software authorization password. This will add a new administrative account.

After that, log in to the panel using the new account, and you can change the password of the previous account.
